In-house and qualified clinical training experts also provide our healthcare assistants with mandatory clinical competency sessions which are aligned both to national guidance and our clients individualised care plan.

The on-going clinical competency of our healthcare assistants is supported, reviewed and approved by our local clinical managers (nurses) who are dedicated to supporting paediatric or adult clients.

Once our staff have received their compulsory training they are gradually introduced to our clients to continue their training by shadowing our nurse managers in the client’s home or in hospital prior to their discharge. Our approach to deploying staff ensures that our clinical managers always have dedicated time to adequately assess the skills and competencies of our healthcare assistants.

We are dedicated to the development of our employees and believe that an investment in their professional development will create an environment and culture where our employees are valued, recognised and retained.

We commit to providing every employee in every role with regular performance development reviews which, while focusing on past performance, also provide an opportunity to set clearly defined future objectives.
